Massage Therapy
Deep Tissue Massage - This massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Slower strokes and friction techniques are used.
Shiatsu - This is a form of Japanese bodywork that uses localized finger pressure in a rhythmic sequence on acupuncture meridians.
Swedish - This massage uses long, smooth strokes, kneading and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle. This provides relaxation and a sense of well-being.
Aromatherapy - This includes massage therapy with additional use of essential oils. Certain oils will be selected that are relaxing, energizing, stress-reducing, or balancing.
Thai Massage - Also called Thai yoga massage, the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Thai massage is done on a padded mat or the floor and you wear comfortable clothing. |
